First National Day

Yesterday was National Day. Lots of people celebrated it yesterday at the national stadium. I heard it would be the last time in that place 'cos they will renovate the stadium soon to make it bigger. I am S'porean now, but not in the mood of celebrating it, perhaps I just came back from my holiday and didn't really feel the atmosphere on it. My son did enjoy and was very happy about it. Yesterday, on the way to my bro's house, he kept seeing flags everywhere and he would keep saying "Mama, see, there is 'Mari Kita'". I told him, that's not 'Mari Kita', but it was a flag. "But teacher said, it was 'Mari Kita', "ma ri ki ta", he even spelled it the way his teacher did. I kept telling him that it was a flag, but my stubborn son kept believing that his teacher was true. *sigh....
While people celebrating, I think I felt aslept at my bro's house. When I woke up, they were all ready for dinner outside. I had had my dinner, so I planned just walking around the shopping centre nearby my bro's house with my son. But my beloved son also pulled my bro's daughter along so that I had to keep an eye both of them. Hahaha... Hm.. after holiday, I can feel that my son is now getting naughtier and I keep yelling on him.. *sigh... I really have no passion towards children. I think previously he wasn't as naughty as now. Kinda sad actually.. 'cos I feel that he is a bit out of control.
Then I stayed there till about 10pm then we went back home. I had a shower after that, washing my hair, and dry it after. I think I slept about 11.30pm at night and that's why I feel sleepy now. My colleague asked me, how was ur first national day? Hm.. actually... I feel nothing. Dunno whether it's not at the right time (for me) or maybe I don't feel sense of belonging towards this country yet... *sigh...
