It's been some time since I posted my last blog. Again!!!!
Hehehe.. I've been quite busy lately since I changed a job. Good thing is.. I see lots of familiar faces there. I have this feeling of going back home. You know what? During orientation day, my second attempt, we were asked as a group of three people to guess what place and take picture of it. As the other two in my group were new, I led a way. And guess what? I feel that I know the places like my own home. Where is the nearest way to go.. how to go to few places at the same time without wasting our time, and so on.. We managed to become the first group who reached our base point. Then one of the guys in my team were asking me.. how long did I work there before? What did I do there until I was so familiar with the place. Hehehehe... I worked there as Secretary before, and it requires me to go from my place to another to deliver documents. And also got one time where I helped my colleagues with their fixed asset project where it required me to go from one type of room to another and take pictures of all things inside. It's really good experience for me.
And now, I have seen some people who were there during my time. One by one has been promoted into what they are now. This week, someone came into my office. She saw my desk full of papers everywhere. She told me this, "I will never be able to take your position. It's just full of paper work!!!" And do you realize something? Everyone has their own capability and expertise. I may be able to handle paper work to certain level.. but I may not be good in giving customer service to guest. Someone is capable in talking with guest, train their staffs, do technical things, but surely they may be very weak in handling those paper work. Like the Channel 8 show that just ended recently, called The bag is too heavy (translation from Chinese words). At the end of the show, they showed the three children. Two were very clever. One boy was managed to go abroad and enrolled for the music school, to develop his talent. The girl was very clever in study and she wished that she can get her PhD one day. The other two boys that were not really good in study, one had a goal of becoming a badminton player, while the other one had a dream of becoming a Chef when he grew up. It really shows us that everyone has their own strength and weaknesses. We are not all weakness in every way. There must be something inside that are strong too.. It's just sometimes we need time to discover it.
My son is in holiday now. Yesterday my hubby met his teacher in school for meet the parent session. The teacher told him that academic wise, R is doing well. He can go to Class 2B next year if based on it. But on behavior wise, he didn't really behave well in class. Most of the time, the teacher didn't see it herself, but it's his friends who informed the teacher, which means, my son likes to disturb his friend behind his teacher's back. Quite naughty he is, isn't he?
So, if his behavior doesn't improve, he might go to lower level in Primary 2. So, academy result is not everything. There must be a balance in it. I was just wondering, maybe it's related to the month he was born. One of my sis and one of my nephew were born in the same month with him and all has similar characteristic.. which is naughty.. Hahahahahaha..... Just kidding man... but don't u think so????
Anyway.. in my point of view, every people has different personality, behavior, and background. But in any way, every child will go through the naughty time. So I still think that it's normal for a child to behave in that way. It's just.. whether they will realize their attitude and change it when they grow up, or not. Just hope he would realize it and change ba....
His buddy was doing very well in school. His test results were amazing. Out of total marks, he only made one or two mistakes. And he studied himself, without going into any tuition. Wow!!! He behaves well in school too.. (Can see from his thick brows that he is clever.. hahahahaha...)
Anyway... today we are going to watch Monsters Vs Aliens.. Hope we can get the ticket as the film was just started two days ago.
And welcome to Rafa Denatra Mursali!!! We are all very happy to see you in this world. Hope you feel the same too.. ;) Born on 28th May, 2.10pm Melbourne time, with weight of 3.058kg. Hope to see you soon...
Well.. gotta end my blog here.. and go for my breakfast soon.. Have a great weekend everyone.. and enjoy your holiday kids... byeee

Three steps one bow - Happy Vesak Day
Hi... today I took off-in-lieu, since I worked last Sunday for closing. Woke up at 8am in the morning. I took a bath, then brought Reever to his favourite makan place, McDonalds. He was having big breakfast while I only took $2.50 Breakfast Meal (Sausage Muffin and Coffee). We enjoyed our food very much. I left him with my mother-in-law while I went back home to take my things.
This morning I went to SGH to do blood test, then headed to OUB centre at Raffles Place to take typhoid injection, but they didn't have a stock, so I left the place and went to meet my ex-colleagues for lunch @Ming Arcade. I was having Seafood Fried Rice with Bird nest drink (fake one, of course). We chatted for a while, then walked a while to Forum. Wah, Jas has cut her hair short and her stomach has gotten much bigger than the last time I saw her. It's been 18 weeks already and she said, 90% the baby is girl (she is hoping for a baby girl actually, so.. her dreams might come true lor... hehehe..)
Then I met my hubby for a while behind the Far East Shopping Centre, at the carpark. He was waiting for his boss. Chatted for a short while, then I decided to continue my destination, to Bishan, cos the weather was damn hot! I went to Junction 8 first, then to my bro's house. I went there to take a look how his renovated house looks like. My sis-in-law was around so we chit chatted for a while until my friend, Irene, called me that she has reached Bishan.
We planned to meet together at Bishan since both of us would like to go for san bu i bai or three steps one bow in Kwang Meng San Temple. It's her first time too.. and both of us doesn't have any ticket for it. So we just went there and asked some volunteer there if there were any extra ticket for the procession. Luckily we managed to get 2 tickets for the 1st session, which supposed to start at 5pm. Wah.. it was so hot! The sun was shining and I was really afraid if it would really affecting my health. I just kept praying that I hope I can start and finish the procession safely.
There were lots of people there. The first session was only started at 5.30pm. By the time we started, it's already 5.45pm. We really took 3 steps then bowed on the road that we traveled and it took us 2 hours plus then finish our destination. We finished at 8pm. Both of us felt very relieved and happy that we managed to do it. It was very tiring! My knees were in pain (got reddish marks there, even the skin was torn off little bit). My feet was also in pain, perhaps too much walk. When we tried to go down the stairs, we could feel that our thigh giving us a funny feeling.. painful through all body.. Walaw.. can't describe it.. Hahaha...
After we finished, we queued up for giving the Buddha statue a bath. It took us about 40 minutes ba... Then we looked for vegetarian food served in their canteen. The menu for today was noodle vegetarian soup. Not bad la.. cos we were really hungry... Then we went around to see what else they have there.. There were kueh kueh distributed too.. and free juices and drinks. There were some stalls selling things too.. also got stalls which gives free distribution of CDs, books, etc. It was really fun and tiring. We left the place about 10pm.
We took bus to Bishan, and I took another bus back home, while my friend took taxi home. It's really a great experience for us and really had a fate for us to join this procession. It's said that the three steps one bow is to purify people's mind, humble their ego, and to train their mental concentration. See if next year I'll have this fate again.... ^^
Reached home about 11pm. My hubby was waiting for me at the bus stop and accompanying me home. Going to sleep soon.. And last.. happy vesak day everyone... Hope all beings be happy and free from suffering.. Nammo Buddhaya

Hi Hi
I'm back!!! It's been such a long time... I had the urge to write, but really got no time!!! Finally today I managed to see the sun after I finished my work... Hahaha...
Well.. my last day from previous job was on 21st April. I managed to have steamboat (Ma la huo guo) with my 2 close friends from OH at Chinatown. They have accompanied me during my days there. We often have lunch and sometimes dinner together.
Next day, on 22nd, I flew back to my hometown in Jakarta, together with PY, who last minute managed to book flight and take leave from her office. We spent 5 days and 4 nights there. My parents were very happy with our arrival. We had dinner at home, asking my mom to cook sour soup (sayur asem), petai cooked with prawns, potatoes, and chillies, bought nasi uduk, yellow fried chicken, fried tofu and tempe, and some chicken organs. I ate until very full. PY drank lots of sour soup 'cos according to her, she would get smarter by drinking it.. Hahaha.. never heard of it before...
The next morning, we had turtle soup for breakfast, my mom's cooking for lunch, and we tried Chinese food at the new open restaurant in Muara Karang. After lunch, PY, me and mom went to Taman Anggrek. PY shopped lots of Polo shirts for her friends (Mom bought one for me and one for my hubby too.. hehehe.. thank you Mummy...).
We went for 2 days 1 night trip to Bandung and Puncak, together with my mom, eldest sis, my cousin, Canel and Fong2, and the driver. In Bandung, we managed to visit Tangkuban Perahu, Vipassana Graha Temple in Lembang, had rabit satay as a snack, batagor, mie kocok, mixed bakso (meat ball), es sekoteng for lunch, and at night we had dinner at Fashion Pasta. We ate outdoor, enjoying the cool air and watching the view of Bandung city from afar. Food was so so.. Next time I might try to eat at The Peak.. The next afternoon, we spent our time at few factory outlets, such as Heritage, Cascade, Branded Club, etc. On the way back, we went through Puncak. Stopped at Brasco Factory Outlet to buy some shirts and jeans, then had our dinner at Bumi Aki and took some pictures of the mountain before it turned dark.
Last day, we had dim sum for breakfast at Ah Yat Abalone Restaurant. My uncle (ku zhang) treated us. Food is not bad, but they served the dessert very slow. In the afternoon, PY and I was shopping at Mega Mal, then went to airport, fetched by my mom and dad. They sent us off and made sure that we were going in.
On my trip here, I managed to meet up with Apeng and Irene (we knew each other during my study time in Beijing, and last met 12 years ago), Vitri (my English course - ILP's friend), Santi (my high school friend), and David (to get the MS Office and anti virus CD from him.. hehehe..), thank you Pid.
I took some pictures of the house including the new house built by my dad.. He explained a lot about his concept and thinking. He built few tanks to save on water (water taken from the rain), put transparent roof so that the sunlight can go through the room, put up the ventilator so that the light and wind could go into the house, and some feng shui stuff on why he built the house in that way. Really proud of him... I hope I can go back often and meet up with them.
On 27th, I started my new job, back at where I worked before. I used those four days to the maximum by learning from the previous Cost Controller. Her last day was last Thursday. She explained quite a lot about what she did, and it really helped me doing things for this closing. Too bad I didn't manage to do outlet inventory with her 'cos I was having MC System Training in the hotel. Anyway.. I went back home quite late for those 4 days and today I managed to see the sun when I went back home.. feel very happy.. hahahaha...
And I just realized that in my new job, I become a section head in this department. Feel like dream... 'cos I really never thought of becoming one. I just hope I can do my job well and make my parents proud with what I'm doing. So that I can prove to them that their effort would not go into the drain. I'll jia you ba!!!
Glad to see the old friendly faces again around me. And the canteen food.. is still the best of the best.. Hahaha.. need to control my intake.. otherwise.. ah gu will get FATTER... hahaha...
Ok lah.. wrote quite a lot already.. time to take rest... Good night everyone...
