Last day in Tokyo

Tomorrow morning I'll be flying back to Singapore, so today can be considered as my last day and night in Tokyo. My two friends are still sleeping (it's 8.35am now) so I use the time to go online. Wish to meet my sis online, but she doesn't. So I just write a blog here (edited on 27th August 2007) ^^
Now the blogspot is in Japan version, so I just guess which botton to click in this page kekeke...

Day 1 - 12th August 2007
I arrived in Tokyo on that day and went to Tokyo station alone using Narita Express *see pic.. then met my friend somewhere near the station. Wow, Tokyo train station is so big.. Lucky there were public phone so I could contact my friend and met him.
I spent whole day on 12th August in Tokyo covering Shinagawa, Sony Building, Ginza, Uyeno, Ameyayokocho, which basically are shopping areas, and ended with view of Senso-Ji (Senso Temple) at night.

Day 2 - 13th August 2007
Also in Tokyo, covering youngster shopping areas, such as Shibuya, Harajuku, then having sukiyaki all-you-can-eat at Ikebukuro, and last place was Roponggi Hills to find the Hard Rock Cafe.
*see picture on the right side - Hendra, Me, and Lucky at Ometosando Hills at Harajuku area (new shopping mall selling high class branded things)

Day 3 - 14th August 2007
We went out to Tokyo station first to purchase shinkansen ticket for Kyoto. After that, we spent the rest of the day in Tokyo DisneySea. Actually there are 2 Disney to see in Japan: DisneyLand Park and DisneySea Park. But I heard that the rides in DisneyLand are almost the same with what they have in LA and HK, and since both my friends have gone there before, so three of us agreed to go to DisneySea Park.
Hm... We could see that most visitors were Japanese. Perhaps it was because it was a school holiday and/or maybe they bought annual passport since they stay nearby. The storyline was quite different with what they have in other Disney, which makes them interesting but the rides were not daring enough! Overall, I wasn't really satisfied with it.

Day 4 - 15th August 2007
We went out early in the morning to catch our 6am shinkansen. We took N700 Shinkansen, which is the new type (started in July 2007). It was fast. The journey from Tokyo to Kyoto was 2 hours and 11 minutes (normal Shinkansen took 2 hours and 42 minutes).
Reaching there, we began searching for ryokan (Japanese traditional guesthouse) *see picture on the right. There was a public bath there.
After taking rest for a while and planning on what to do, we then went out to downtown area started with Nisikhi Market. I love this place so much because inside it, there were lots of shops selling Japanese any kind of food ingredients to cook the Japanese food, including bento set, snacks, souvenirs, etc.

We also visited some nearby Japanese temples and shrines. By the way, there are over 2000 temples and shrines in Kyoto city. We had sushi for lunch. Not so good, perhaps because the price was cheap (only 105 yen per plate - around SGD 1.35) *see picture. Then we walked up to Gion and went up to one temple. I took lots of picture in Nishiki Market and it made my battery flat so fast hahaha.. So we went back to ryokan to charge the battery. At the same time, each of us took a bath at public bath. It was my first time naked with other women hahahha..... The water was hot but it made my pain and ache gone f0r a while. I took a short nap before we went out for dinner.

We went to Ponto-cho - nightlife's area - narrow street filled up with lots of restaurants and bars *see picture on the left. Before deciding where to eat, we took a look also at Gion area then at the end we decided to eat Unagi at Ponto-cho. The set was quite expensive. My set costs 2,100 yen (unagi w/ rice - medium size, chawan mushi, soup, and little bit of achar). My friend's one costs 2,850 yen (all of the above plus sashimi and little bit of vegetable). We sat at 3rd floor and facing the view of the river. Very nice view =)
Most shops were closed at 9pm in Japan, so after having dinner, we all went back to Kyoto station. Before going back to Ryokan, we took a look at Kyoto station. It was huge!! We went up to 12th floor to see the Kyoto view from top.

Day 5 - 16th August 2007
In the morning, we had our Japanese breakfast at the ryokan *see picture on the right side- Japanese traditional breakfast w/ dining room's background.
After makan, we went to Kyoto Tower Hotel to hop in the bus (we booked a morning local tour). The tour consists of viewing Nijo-Ji (official Kyoto residence of the first Tokugawa shogun, Ieyasu), Kinkaku-Ji (Golden Pavillion Temple), and Kyoto Imperial Palace *see picture below - view of Kyoto Imperial Palace.

The weather of the day was damn hot!!! It felt like 40 degree Celcius! But no choice, we still had to browse around the area since the 3 places were best-know places in Kyoto.

We finished tour at 12.10pm and having a break until 1pm. Then we went up to Kurama (around 1 hour journey by train) to have the outdoor hot spring bath or Onsen in Japanese. Nice view from the train but it would be much nicer if we went there during winter time. Hahaha..

And it was also my first time to get naked outdoor together with other women. Hahaha.... But it was damn nice! No wonder lots of Japanese love to do so! I wish Singapore had one onsen too.. hahahahha.. *above pictures taken near Kurama Station.

We went back to Kyoto station and had our ticket change. We supposed to return to Tokyo that night, but since we had save some time, we still managed to go to Osaka, which is only 29 minutes away by train from Kyoto. And luckily there were seats for the train on the next day. So we headed up to Osaka. We also managed to find a good hotel with reasonable prices, New Hankyu hotel

We reached there around 8pm. The tourist information centre has closed, so we had to find hotel by ourselves and we just went to the hotel nearby walk-in. At first, we requested for a room for 3 and it costs 27,000 yen or 9,000 yen each. We still thought about it and discussing but since we took quite some time, the front office officer offered us another rate for 3 single room at 8,000 yen for each room (all w/out breakfast). Since my friend has long time never slept alone inside the room, so we all agreed with the arrangement. Hahaha... And we found the room very nice *reminds me of the day when I stayed in Geneva... see picture. We had dinner nearby the station (omelet rice), and had free time 'til sleeping time. I browsed around the station area before going back to hotel and slept.

Day 6 - 17th August 2007
We checked out from the hotel at 9.30am. We headed to Kyoto Castle as our first destination. It is Osaka's landmark - place that must see!!! Hehehe... *see picture on the right. Beautiful, right? We went there until 1pm. The weather was as hot as the day before. We had to endure though.. And the best thing, u know what? I didn't bring my sunblock to Kyoto and Osaka. I left it in Tokyo. 'Cos during my stay in Tokyo, the weather wasn't that hot. Haiz.... now I bring some souvenir from there - black skin.. hahaha...

We then went directly to Universal Studio and spent our evening there until 8pm. It was very fun! I enjoyed the ride "Hollywood Dream" very much and took it twice! There was personalized stereo in back of each seat. We could choose on what song to hear during the ride. I chose Pop English and they played "Girlfriend" song by Avril during my ride, which was DAMN GOOD!!! Hahaha...
We had burger set for dinner at one Diners inside it. Quite expensive for the portion like that.. but no choice lorr... We were inside Universal Studio lehh... We also took some other rides, by using 'single rider' pass - made us faster reach the ride.. hehehe..

We set back to Tokyo by Shinkansen N500 and reached Tokyo around 23.42pm *see picture - me & Shinkansen. The Shinkansen series N700 is much better than N500. But we didn't inform clearly with the person who changed our ticket, that's why we ended up taking N500 on our way home. Oklah, at least we still arrived safely to Tokyo. Hehehe... ^^
We had our supper at Yoshinoya nearby the house before headed home.

Day 7 - 18 th August 2007
I spent first half day nearby my friend's apartment to browse around the supermarket and having Udon alone for lunch while both of them went to wash their clothes nearby the area.
At 2pm we started to go out to Yokohama area. First we stopped to see the Chinatown. It was quite big and most shops selling the 'bao' - Chinese meat bun. The sizes range from small to big and some were even decorated in Panda style. The Chinese food there were very expensive so we only bought some buns and other snacks while browsing the area.

After that we moved to Sakuragi-cho station to view the Landmark Tower (the tallest building in Japan) and Cosmo Clock Ferris Wheel (the world's highest ferris wheel at 105m and has the world's fastest lift - 45km/hour). We only saw the view from a far and didn't go up as the weather was cloudy at that day *see picture on the left.
We then went to Yokohama station, which consists only shopping malls like Sogo, Porta, etc, and set ourselves to Kawasaki to have our dinner at food court. I had Hamburg steak Japanese style *see picture - Oishi nee..., while my friend had a chicken rice and ramen. After that we went back home and took a rest.

So, today, 19th August, we plan to go to Tokyo Imperial Palace. Going to put more pictures once I returned back to Singapore. Ciao!!! - As per mentioned in the blog after this, we didn't go to Tokyo Imperial Palace due to the hot weather. And I've put lots of pics in this blog. Hope you enjoy my trip too... Peace!! ^^

Jakarta trip

1 week just passed like that.. It flies really fast!

Thursday, 2 Aug
Arrived at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at about 6pm. My parents and my sis' children fetched Reever and I. We went back home and had our dinner together. Chatted w/ my 2nd sis, and my cousin who stays there temporarily to study TOEFL. This time we slept at the room at the 1st floor instead of the room at 2nd floor that I used to stay.

Friday, 3 Aug
Morning my mom cooked fried noodle and wonton soup. She has bought the wrong wonton wrapper so my aunt, Reever, and I went to Pasar Pluit to buy the right one. I bought 'buah lontar' there, very sweet and nice ^^ Then we ate lor... My aunt bought jambu, mangga, and kedondong - cut one - sold by asinan buah seller in the market. We ate it w/ spicy brown sugar. In the afternoon my mom accompanied me to Mega Mal together w/ my sis' son. We brought the children to Timezone. It's much cheaper to play there rather than in Singapore. I filled up the card Rp 65.000 and they played it until the account finished. We then headed to Carrefour. I bought things to be brought home to Singapore and went back home.

Saturday, 4 Aug
Morning I joined my mom, sis, and aunt to Pasar Muara Karang. We went around then they had nasi tim there while I bought 'bihun bebek' or duck noodle takeaway. I ate at home. In the afternoon my sis's friend came to our house and she drove us to Pancoran, which is also called Jakarta's Chinatown. We went to the building where my mom used to have a shop over there. Now it's Bata shop selling shoes. We went to Gloria too to buy some batik clothes. And we had 'kuo tie' for our lunch! Wow! Wonderful! It cost around $3 per 10 pcs. I think I almost ate 15 pcs alone. haiehiaheiaheia... My 3rd sis also likes the kuo tie very much. Last time each of us could eat 20pcs or more.. kekekeke...
In the afternoon I went to my high school friend's house, Siska. She is now 5-month pregnant. We chatted for about an hour before I went back home. Finally I got a chance to know her husband, Yance, whom I never met before.
At 5pm, we went to Senayan City w/ our driver. We met my eldest sister, who just finished schooling. We had our dinner at 'Duck King Restaurant' serving Pecking duck and other Chinese food. We ordered 1 pc Pecking duck - 20 pcs duck skin wrapped w/ spring onion and hoisin sauce - the meat was deep fried w/ mango and wrapped like spring roll. It costs S$30/pc. There were prawned cooked w/ honey, steamed fish, vegetable, siomai dim sum and chikcen feet dim sum. Very nice!! But it costs quite expensive. It costs around S$160 overall (almost 1 million Rupiah!!!)
We walked for a while before we went back home.

Sunday, 5 Aug
All of us went to Pinang Sari to have our bakmi breakfast. The portion was big! It was nice though hehehe.. At about 10am we left Jakarta and headed to Puncak. Puncak is a mountain areas located about 2 hours drive from Jakarta. My bro-in-law drove us there. Our first stop was Puncak hotel. Children spent the time to ride the horses (half an hour costs S$5) while adults were sitting down enjoying drinks & snack. I ordered 'kopi tubruk' - Indonesian traditional coffee and ate the pisang goreng and Holland pancake as the snacks. We also bought 'gemblong' - fried glutinous rice coated w/ brown sugar, which is also the favourite snacks in the area. 10 pcs costs Rp 8.000 (about S$1.50) so cheap ya? *see pic - at Bumi Aki

We then went to 'Kota Bunga' - which locates lots of villas and each house has different type of design resembling the cities all over the world, e.g. Paris, Venice, Holland, Japan, etc. This time we went directly to Arena Fantasy, which is the entertainment place for children. Children were having good times there. The entrance was about S$6 (if you play) and $4.50 (if you don't play). After that we went to Brasco - factory outlet. I bought some clothes for my hubby and myself. We stopped there for about an hour plus and our stomach started to grumble hehehe.. Then we had our early dinner (at about 5.30pm) at Bumi Aki - a restaurant which serves Indonesian traditional food. The food there were really nice! We ordered fried chicken, fried fish, tumis kangkung, tongseng lamb, chicken & lamb satay, sour soup, chilli, etc. I really enjoyed it! We reached home at about 8.30pm. *see pic - kids at Arena Fantasi

Monday, 6 Aug
We went to Mega Mal at about 10am. First destination, hair salon. I had my hair creambath and cut completed w/ wash and blow as well. It's a package for only $8. My mom had her hair creambath and pedicure. My sis had her hair rebond and pedicure. While my son and my sis' son had their hair cut. My sis took quite some time to finish her hair rebond. So I brought the 3 kids to have lunch first at KFC, then took the animal's ride around the mall and we stopped at Gramedia book shop. I looked for interesting books while they took a look at children's book. We then had ice cream at McDonald's until my sis came. Once she came, we bought movie's tickets, Surf Up. One ticket only costs Rp 15.000 or S$2.5 per person (only from Monday to Friday). How cheap it is!!! After watching the movies we went back home. Not long after, I went out again together w/ my son and mom to Taman Anggrek looking for my sis-in-law's Levi's Jeans. Still had chance to eat D'crepes. Hehehe.. I ordered Tuna Pizza while my son ordered Strawberry special and altogether only costs S$2.50 while in Singapore, both crepes could cost S$6.30. Wow!!!
Since we came back quite early, at about 8pm, I asked my cousin, Fong, to go to warnet, to go online. It's almost a week since I checked my last email. We went there for an hour, and it only costs $0.50/hour. So cheap neee...

Tuesday, 7 Aug
My friends, Jeni and Sani, came to my house in the morning. Jeni came w/ her son, Fukutaro. When she told me her son's name, I thought she was joking, but actually she didn't. Hahaha.. what a cute name! We chatted for a while before we went out to have our breakfast at our school's canteen. Reever and I had bakmi while my friend had siomai. After makan, Sani and I went inside our school and met some teachers there, like Pak Bambang, Pak Charles, Pak Slamet, Pak Joko, and many other teachers that I forgot their names. I still can recognized their faces and they too recognized my face, but most of them forgot who am I. Hihihihihi.... Too bad I didn't meet my favourite teacher, Pak Buyung. He was out somewhere at that day.

Afternoon time was spent at home. Oh.. I went to Carrefour alone to buy some things. Then at 5pm, Jeni fetched me to Pantai Mutiara. Sani asked us to go swimming w/ her and her son. I brought Reever and Cici - my sis' daughter. Not bad. The place has a very nice view facing the sea. Since I didn't bring my swimming cloth, I was just there to accompany them and took some pictures. After finished swimming, all of us took bajaj. We dropped Sani then continued the journey to Nyun Njan, my mother's favourite restaurant. We used to eat at the restaurant. Then recently they opened the branch near our house, that's the place we ate that night. My parents had reached there and started eating when we reached. Just nice! Hehehe... Good food, still same like before. After makan, we went back home on foot. Since it was still quite early, I went to my high school friend's house, Wenny, who stays next next to my house. She was at home having her dinner. So we chatted for a while lor before I went back home at 9.15pm.

Wednesday, 8 Aug
Most people were having half day off because 8th Aug was the day to elect the Jakarta's governor. I got the card as well so I went in the morning together w/ my parents and sis to the election's place. Kekeke.. I had no idea on who were the candidates... but I still chose anyway.
We went out having our breakfast at Bakmi Abadi. Actually at first we wanted to go to Bakmi 17, but it was closed due to the election. It's ok lah..
Then we went to Mangga Dua and reached there at about 11.20pm. We only realised that they only opened after 12pm due to election. So we waited outside the building togehter w/ other people until it opened. We went to my uncle's shop to try jeans jacket and pants, but no suitable one for me. Then we walked to other shops and I managed to buy few t-shirts for my hubby. We had our lunch at Hoka Hoka Bento, my favourite Japanese fast food in Indonesia. I ordered chicken katsu meal plus meat ball soup and completed w/ es delima. Hehehehe.... My sis bought their things too. We reached home at 5pm.
My father asked me on where did I want to have my dinner since it was my last night there. At first my aunt suggested to eat at 'Lestari' - restaurant served Hakka food. But I suggested to eat satay babi - pork satay and my father agreed. Hehehee... so we went to Pecenongan to have our satay babi and paikut soup there. Wow, very nice!!!!

Thursday, 9 Aug
I woke up at 7am and took a bath. I woke my sis up and both of us took the motorcycle and went to the petrol kiosk first to fill up the petrol's tank then we had our breakfast at Bakmi 17, our favourite noodle since when we were in school's time. Hahaha... my father shook his head knowing that both of us woke up so early just to have our bakmi there... ckckck....
At 8.30am, my other cousin fetched me to Iva, the place for me to have the facial. Normally I go there to facial when I was back home. So.. it took me 1.5 hours to enjoy the process but I didn't sleep this time. I went back home by bajaj. We had 'Padang food' for lunch. My aunt bought it home. Wow.. very nice!!! Chicken curry, BBQ chicken, sayur nangka, daun singkong, kikil, and rendang. Its green chilli was amazing!!! Hahaha... At 3pm I had body massage at home. My mom asked the auntie to come to house. It was my first time massaged by this auntie. And her method of massaging was very different w/ other massages that I ever had before. She actually pressed our bodies' nerves from head to toe. It was really painful!! I kept shouting 'aduh' and she kept saying that I had lots of problems w/ my back, leg, hands, breath, liver, digestion system, maag, etc. She also said I kept my emotion inside myself so much.. She kept saying "Capeeekkk, deehhh...!!!", which means "Tired lahhhhh...." hahahaha...
Once finished, I got myself ready. My mom and Kong cai fetched us to the airport. Our flight was at 6.50pm and reached Singapore at about 9.50pm.
My sis-in-law, bro-in-law, their son, my mother-in-law, and uncle fetched us from the airport. I was sooo... tired... but still unpacked my luggage. I took a bath and slept at 12am at night..

This time our trip was very enjoyable!! Eat, shop, met families and friends, do things I like like facial, creambath, pedicure, massage, riding motor, etc.. Hope to go back home again anytime soon!!! Thanks, Mom! *see pic - My mom & me

*From left to right: Soh Chiew Guek, Mak Lye Jan, Zainab, Irene Chang, Ellen Tein, Christy, Magdalene, Susan Lim, Vivian Sim, Jenny Kay, Hasni, Rahman, Joyce Eng, Lee Yin (my boss), Edith (who replaces me), and Ning Xi

How time flies... Yesterday was my last day working in SMC. I bought Oreo cheesecake for finance staffs to share and original one for my boss. She seems quite like it. Great to know! Thanks PY for helping me buy using staff rate!
So, I finished clearing, and went around to say goodbye to everyone I met. Then went back home w/ my things. Took some pics w/ colleague and stored it in my mobile so I can take a look at it at anytime.
I stopped by at Hougang Mall looking for the medicines that my mom ordered. Waited quite long until the pharmacist came back from his dinner, but at the end, I couldn't buy it 'cos I didn't have doctor's prescription for that particular medicine.
Went back home tiredly. Took a rest for a while, had my dinner - rice and soup. Took a bath, then started packing my luggage. I prepared both luggage, to Jakarta and Japan 'cos I'll only have 1 day rest before flying again to Japan. Very tireeedd.... Also had to prepare the interview this morning. I managed to sleep at 11pm.
This morning I woke up at 7 plus am and got myself ready for interview. Overall, he said I'm over qualified for the job offered. So, I don't think there will be any chance for them to choose me. Anyway.. after the interview, I went to buy bakua and laobobing for home, also stopped by at Hougang to buy sandal for my father before buying my lunch and headed home.
I just finished the rest of the packing. Now taking rest for a while, before get prepared. I will leave home at 2pm, which is 15 mins from now.. So, I can't talk much now... Hope I can get enough sleep later.. well.. I'll be back in 9th. See you again guys!!! Take care!

My laptop's hero ^^

On Thursday afternoon my hubby called me when I was still in the office telling me that my laptop can't work well. At first, there was something wrong w/ internet connection, which I thought it was the fault from the modem. But after trying here and there, my hubby said the connection was on and off and until he couldn't turn the laptop at all. It was hang there in the Windows sign. Haiz... first, my handphone lost and now.. my laptop got a problem. I was quite worked up when I knew about it. My hubby suggested me to bring my laptop to work and asked my IT Manager to help me fixing it up. But my IT Manager was on leave on Friday. Then I remember my friend who is currently in Singapore, David. I smsed him on Friday morning asking about the problem in my laptop. He only replied my sms in the afternoon around 3 pm. I decided to call him and asked the problem directly to him. To my surprise, he offered to repair my laptop. He said he didn't intend to go out on his last night in Singapore - he and his colleagues were going back to Jakarta on Saturday. So I told him that I would ask my hubby to bring the laptop to him in evening.

I called my hubby right after that. But he told me he was just meeting his friend for eating. He just reached the place and ordered his food and didn't think that he can make it unless if it's a bit late at night. Since he said that, I told him not to bother and continued what he was doing, disappointedly. He called me few times assuring me that he would meet David. At first, I asked him not to bother, but since he insisted, then I gave him David's hp no and asked him to contact him directly. So my hubby rushingly went back home to take my laptop and went to meet David at his hotel.

I had farewell dinner that night, that's why I couldn't rushing home myself to bring my laptop to him. I thought it would be pretty late if I'd done so. Anyway, once I finished the dinner, I rushingly went to David's hotel too and met them there. When I reached there, they said they have re-installed my computer and put back my back up file. Everything was fine. The internet can be connected. But after restart the computer twice, the problem came again. It couldn't connect through the internet. They tried and tried.. still couldn't connect until the time shows 11 plus. So David told us to leave our laptop there while he tried to reinstall the laptop again and found where the problem is and asking us to come back there the next morning.

Well.. no choice.. so I left my laptop there. And told them I'd be there the next morning at 11am, and would bring breakfast for both of them. Agreed!!! Then Raymond and I went back home.
We woke up at 9 plus on Saturday and had ourselves prepared. I bought chasao rice w/ shao rou for David while I bought 1 egg prata and 2 kosong for Tedjo. 2R and I went to their hotel. Raymond met them first, while Reever and I went to buy Old chang kee to both of them - for them to eat at the airport. Once done, we went up to their room.

Wah, they really enjoyed the breakfast that I brought hahahaa..... and David told me that he has managed to repair my laptop and the problem lies w/ the antivirus software. Luckily he was around!!! And became my laptop's hero! =) Otherwise, if I have to bring it down to HP centre, probably I had to pay them quite sum of money to repair - while I don't have guarantee in Singapore *it was bought in US last year. Anyway.. my datas were all there too.. thanks to him to back up everything and put my other softwares back into my laptop. He even installed me MOS Office 2007, which I don't know how to use it. Hahahaha...

After finishing their food, they prepared to check out. And before left their room, I managed to take their picture using my handphone *see pic - David & Tedjo.

Thanks for both of you. You have spent ur last night repairing my laptop instead of enjoying ur time somewhere else. Hope to see you again soon!!! Take care!!

Farewell Dinner @EMC

At first, there were more than 10 people who wanted to join to my farewell dinner. But 2 has drawn out 2 days before the event. One of them had made it up by inviting me to have Korean food nearby our working place while another one will make it up next week. And to my disappointment, 3 has drawn out just on the day itself. Well, it's ok for me =) The most important, you must have heart to attend. Not just for the sake of being there. Some more, it was held on Friday night. People must have other interesting things to do for their weekend ^^

So, it left w/ 7 of us. My boss, AFC, and 4 other colleagues. Actually the most avoided place for farewell for me at first was this place. 'Cos I just get bored w/ the food inside. Hehehe... But since they're having Penang promotion, it rather sounds interesting! What comes on ur mind when u heard of Penang food??? Penang laksa? Chao Kway teow w/ ham? Char Moy? Hokkien Mee? Actually I haven't been to Penang before. So, the decision to have my farewell there was right 'cos it opened my mind on what is Penang food tastes or looks like. And they really brought the cooks from Penang to cook all the food. And the taste was very good!!! Beside their promotion, they also serve durian buffet.

That night, I tried almost all the Penang food served. I saw when the char moy was cooked w/ a big flames! It was very interesting. The taste of it was very nice too. My colleague even took two bowls hahahaha....
And I saved some space for durian. I ate about 8 pcs of durian. I ate until I don't want to eat it again this season. Hahahaha.. partly because I've been eating durian for another 3 days this week after work ;P My colleague has managed to take some durian for few of us to enjoy. I ate until my pimples coming up.. hahaha... too heaty... but the durian taste was really nice. He told me, actually the durian grade normally is just a normal one. But since they have been out of stock 'cos the order for the buffet was a lot.. the supplier had to look for the replacement and they supplied us w/ D24 instead. Weee.... ^^ Once he and I opened one durian. There were 5 pieces inside one durian, where 1 side consists of 1 piece. Can u imagine? 1 piece each inside. Big and sweet one.. nyummy.... hmmmmm.... sedap... hehehehe...

Anyway.. overall everything was fine. My boss also ate quite a lot. But she left us early 'cos she kept thinking of her new TV that she had to take from the store before it closed. I also took picture w/ Moses Lim, the spoke person for the Penang food promotion. Thank you everyone for the great farewell for me :)
